Lexington, OH – The hissing sound of tire pressures being bled down combined with damper adjustments and wing changes were just a few of the agenda items taking place on a busy pit road during practice on Friday for the F2000 Championship Series at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Steve Jenks turned in the fastest lap for Tumenas Motorsports, cementing his place as fastest late in the morning session with a lap of 1:24.472 to lead Brandon Dixon and John LaRue as the top seven cars were covered by a slim eight tenths of a second.

Steve Jenks sits first in the Championship as eight drivers could leave Mid-Ohio on Sunday night with the points lead.

Liam Snyder Primus Racing has signed 15 year old Liam Snyder from Southlake, Texas to drive their Van Diemen Mazda MZR Powered F2000 chassis in the upcoming F2000 Championship Series event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, June 28- July 1.

James Roe

Alton, VA – James Roe took his second victory of the F2000 Championship Series, taking the lead away from Reece Everard at VIR on Sunday afternoon in round six of the season. Roe would go on to take the win ahead of Everard. Simon Sikes was third, storming to the final podium spot from ninth at the start.

Steve Jenks

Alton, VA – Steve Jenks took his second F2000 Championship Series victory of the season on Saturday morning at VIR in round five, surviving the mayhem ahead of him to climb to the top step of the podium for Tumenas Motorsports. Jenks, driving the No. 68, extends his points lead, and led Tim Paul and Kerry Jacobsen to the checkered flags at VIR.
