Allaer arrived late at the track on Friday, with the team staying late too and replacing a throw out bearing in the No. 52 Van Diemen.

Reece EverardAlton, VA - Reece Everard backed up his practice pace in the F2000 Championship Series season-opener weekend at VIR, lowering fast lap to 1:53.030 in an early-evening session in the No. 61 entry. The 23-year-old Michigan resident was fastest overall in two consecutive practice sessions, with Brandon Dixon and Steve Jenks following on the practice two time sheets. Reece EverardAlton, VA - It was F2000 Championship Series newcomer Reece Everard at the top of the time sheets in Free Practice 1 on Thursday afternoon at the 2017 season opening weekend at VIRginia International Raceway. Everard, driving the No. 61, only put in four laps but flew to first position in the 30-minute session with a lap of 1:54.578.
